Established in 2005 the Activate Forum brings together individuals and organisations with the common goal of developing and promoting disability sport and physical activity. From 9th September 2010 Activate Forum merged with WHSPAAA. Our purpose is to ensure that all disabled people – including people with learning disabilities, physical impairments, visual impairments and deaf people have more opportunities to participate in sport and physical activity. In particular the Activate Forum aims to

- To distribute information to people with disabilities about sport and physical activity
- To support local clubs and organisations and individuals in providing additional opportunities for disabled people and provide assistance in obtaining grant aid.
- To apply for funding to support the provision of sporting opportunities for disabled people.
